Inspired by the ink palettes to which we add a specific pigment to get from one tone to another, in The Color Scale of Time we add hours, days, months. To carry out this project, 12 series were made, one for each month of the year, each one having 12 photographs, and totalizing so 144 images. These photographs were taken between 6 am and 7 pm, every month, always at the same window.
This project allows different assemblies because the months are treated as modules. Two artist books have also been developed as a result of the project: “The Color Scale of Time For Sunny Days” and another one “For Rainy Days”.
