The city changes, grows, transform itself. The landscape, ephemeral, dissolve itself into concrete. We can no longer identify the geographic references that gave rise to its foundation. Which way is the river? Where the sun rises? What distinguishes this city?
The series View of […] is an ongoing work in progress, that has been carried out so far in Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Belem and Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, Buenos Aires – Argentina, Dubai – UEA, New York – EUA and Paris – France. The proposal is photographing the window view in different cities whenever the expectation of a great view is frustrated by big concrete walls, making it unlikely to identify the place and so, making all those different cities look like they were the same.
